Chari graduated #1 in her class from the wonderful
School of Visual Arts in May of 2007 with a B.F.A.
in Cartooning.
Among her biggest artistic and comedic inspirations
include Bill Watterson (“Calvin and Hobbes”),
Matt Groening (“The Simpsons”), Frederick Opper
(“Alphonse and Gaston”), Jon Scieszka & Lane Smith
(“The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales”,
“The True Story of the Three Little Pigs”),
and Seth MacFarlane (“Family Guy”).
Chari's greatest influences are her mother,
father, sister, and her late pet Minature
Schnauzer, Randi, who still makes appearances
in her comics with a halo and wings.
Aside from drawing cartoons, Chari loves animals,
laughter, Oldies music, and is a professional hugger.
Her main goal in life is to put a smile on the faces
of all those who view her work.
